Roden Krick is a dangerously capable bounty hunter. Although he employs a wide variety of mechanical devices to assist him in his work, his natural skill can't be ignored. He's fast, strong, smart, and possesses no remorse for his victims- or any other bystanders that happen to get in the way.

We first meet Krick in "Taffy Time" when he lures Ro and Zee to a defunct candy factory. Aiming to beat the government in Zeta's capture- and thereby earn the hefty price which has been laid on the robot's head- Krick tries to bring down the synthoid in the confines of the factory. But when things don't go quite as planned, Krick uses Agent Lee as bait and plans to blame her death on Zee when the whole event is over. Luckily, Krick underestimates Ro's meddling ability and, soon after, he's out of options.

Krick may have some strength in the art of strategy but if a scheme goes astray he has to think on his toes; he's not too good at that. Krick also has a frightening temper- when it gets fired up he loses control of all logic and reacts with pure emotion. Undiluted rage is dangerous enough but when combined with Krick's natural recklessness the situation immediately hits the critical stage.

His original motivation for capturing Zeta was financial- his current drive is payback. Zee is the only quarry that has ever escaped him and Krick isn't about to let that humiliation go unpunished. In the episode "Resume Mission" Krick returns with a new arsenal of cybernetic weapons to hunt down Zee and Ro. However, Zee shuts down fairly early in the episode so it's up to Ro and Bucky to keep him safe from Krick, both knowing that if Zee is found they'll be in danger, as well. Zee finally wakes up just in time to battle Krick on a roller-coaster. Once again, Krick's carelessness trips him up and he takes a nasty fall (Zee saves him, of course, but not before Krick gets knocked around a bit).

This is probably the last time we'll see Krick (Season 3 or not) but I'd actually like to see him in at least one more episode. With each appearance he takes on a more robotic form; I want to see how far he'd take his cyber transformation given the chance. But that's what fanfiction's for, isn't it? ;)
