Rosalie Rowen, or Ro, is a fifteen year-old orphan whom the NSA refers to as 'The Accomplice.' After Zeta rescued her from a bad situation involving a gang of street kids and a proposed bank heist, Ro felt obligated to help the robot escape his potential captors. Zeta asked for her help in creating a diversion so that he could hack into a government computer for information on his creators. Ro agreed, planning to play her part in the scheme and walk away five hundred creds richer, but when the circumstances became dangerous she couldn't resist jumping into the fray. Narrowly escaping the government agents, Zeta and Ro decided to work together. Ro is sarcastic, impatient, and quite suspicious of those around her. She's had a rough life, continually moving from foster home to foster home and finally landing herself on the streets. Learning from past disappointments, Ro never allows herself to get too caught up in the 'illusion' of utter happiness- she's always sure that there's a negative angle somewhere. Having to rely on herself for survival, she doesn't place much trust in others and hides her real feelings with a street-smart attitude. This begins to change, however, when she meets Zee, the first person that she can remember showing any warmth and attachment to her. Although she still hides her more complex feelings and thoughts from him, Ro has begun to open up to Zee. We can only hope that nothing traumatic happens to change this situation... The only foster family that Ro ever felt any connection to at all was the Morgan family. They were strict with high moral standards; although Ro thought they were a little too prudent, being a part of the Morgan family offered a sense of consistancy and structure that she'd never known before. Probably scared of letting herself get too comfortable, Ro moved on from the Morgans but later returned to Hillsburg (Hicksburg, as she calls it) to visit them. The reunion resulted in a bit of destruction but, on the bright side, Ro learned that Mr. Morgan and Tiffany (aka Tiffy) still cared about her. Thanks to Tiffy, she also learned that she has a brother. In Season 2, Ro was finally reunited with her brother after Bucky tracked him down. Casey Macurdy (formerly Rowen) is a journalist in San Francisco. Although his loyalty to Ro was severely questioned after their first meeting, Casey pulled through and helped her elude the NSA with Zee- even though he had to risk losing his job to do it. Because he can't safely see his sister again until she's cleared of criminal charges, Casey is helping to rally support for the pair by putting a positive (and more honest) spin on their escapades in his articles. Also, to help them communicate with less suspicion, the siblings have worked out a message system; they leave each other ads in certain newspapers with secret messages that have to do with small tractors (Ro's grandpa nicknamed her Little Doser). ;) Now that Ro has found her brother she's more motivated to return to him- clear of charges- and she's also more focused on helping Zee find his own 'family'.
