Agent Orin West isn't the NSA's most valuable agent- far from it, actually. He's usually the reason that Zeta gets away. And for this we love him. Although West is clumsy, a bit slow, and not at all tactful, he tries so hard to be a good agent and seems to have more enthusiasm for his job than the entire squadron put together (except on the days when he and his partner are punished with 'pit-end' tasks). Because he doesn't get complimented very much, West has had to puff himself up a bit. He does have a bit of an ego but we know it's just to hide his insecurities, right?

With all of the trouble West gets into, you probably think he's unlucky- not so! He's got Agent Lee, his guardian angel, for a partner. Like those of us who love West, Lee acknowledges the agent's bumbling but looks past it. She sees that he's trying his darndest to be a success and humors his more unreliable plans and ideas. She's also there to back him up, and sometimes protect him, when Bennet takes to the warpath. While they're not a definite couple in the show many TZP fans see sparks between the two agents.

However, Lee has shattered our hopes of an on-screen romance between the two and left. Now he's got Agent Rush to deal with. After being partnered so long with Lee, who let him get away with a lot before coming unglued, he's now on shaky ground with Rush; she refuses to turn a blind eye to his failings as his previous partner so often did. Without Lee to help prop him up he'll have to get with the program pretty quick- Rush doesn't seem like the type who's willing to share unneccesary blame. Maybe with this new partner he'll finally be forced to become a little more independent.
