[TZP VALENTINE'S DAY CARD EXCHANGE]
Valentine's Day is coming up soon and you know what that means, right? Another card exchange! :D
HOW IT WORKS:
WHO IS INVITED:
WHAT YOU SHOULD SEND:
But please note, the U.S. Postal Service does have a minimum mail size- if your letter/card is less than 3.5 x 5 inches, the USPS will NOT mail it. So while those adorable little elementary school Valentines can be sent, you might have to put them in bigger envelopes before the USPS will agree to mail them. Also, as of January 8, 2006, postage will increase from 37¢ to 39¢ in the U.S.- so make sure that your postage is correct when you send your letters. :) You can visit this website for more details about letter sizes and weights.
HOW TO SIGN UP:
Your Name (Internet handles are fine)
None of this information will be displayed online. It will only be emailed to other participants. If you don't feel comfortable divulging your home address, find out if your school or workplace will let you receive mail care of them.
DUE DATE:
This should give you plenty of time to buy or make your cards and send them out. But don't procrastinate! To make sure that your letters reach their destinations by Valentine's Day, you must make it a priority to get your cards mailed by February 5, 2006. For overseas mail, you may have to get them out even earlier. It's a good idea to just sit down and get all of your cards written and sent in one day. So that's it. If you'd like to join, make sure you get signed up before January 30th and try to get all of your mail out by February 5th. I really hope to see a lot of participation- the TZP community is a strong one and this is a chance to show that strength in action. I'm also hoping to continue these card exchanges throughout the year every couple of months. If anyone has suggestions for holidays, let me know. :) Happy Valentine's Day!
