SEASON 1:

  • The Accomplice Click here to read reviews of this episode!
Summary: In the premier episode, we meet Zeta, an adroid running from the NSA in search of freedom. The government agency believes that Zeta's newfound sense of free-will is the result of reprogramming by terrorists. Temporarily out of the government's reach, Zeta saves a girl named Ro from a gang of street kids who are planning a bank robbery; later, Ro helps Zeta escape the NSA in a hover car. Together they plan one final scheme, in which Ro must distract the agents while Zeta downloads information from their computer system. Although Zeta does retrieve a partial file, the plan backfires and they make a narrow escape. Realizing that they work well as a team, Zeta and Ro decide to stick it out and continue on the robot's journey together.

  • His Maker's Name Click here to read reviews of this episode!
Summary: Reasoning that the government will only believe his story if his creator confirms it (he made Zeta what he is, after all), Zee and Ro search for the brains behind the Infiltration Unit series. They visit a space research center looking for information but fall in with a small group of neo-hippy protestors (Spacies) when their mission goes awry. The show picks up speed when Ro kidnaps a scientist she thinks will be able to help Zeta. Zee goes to meet with him, unaware that it is a trap and that the scientist is already under the impression that the robot is a killing machine. But when the man is thrown in harm's way, Zeta comes to the rescue. The scientist, now convinced that Zee can't be all bad, gives them what little information he has on the IU project and helps the pair elude the NSA.

  • Remote Control
Summary: After discovering that his invention has been stolen and patented under Dr. Tannor's name, a twelve year-old genius named Bucky decides to get even. Using his unmatched cracking skills, Bucky breaks into the NSA's database and finds the schematics for Infiltration Unit Zeta. After downloading the robot's design program into his latest toy, a remote which can control anything as long as the configuration diagrams are available, the prodigy sends for Zeta (who has no control over his body and travels to Bucky's location on a dangerous path). It's up to Ro to talk Bucky out of his plan to 'murder' Dr. Tannor and give up his control over Zee- but not before Tannor is scared out of his skin by the advancing killer robot and blurts out that he's a fraud in the middle of a packed science convention.

  • Change of Heart
Summary: Giving West and Lee the slip, Ro and Zee sneak into the Grandview Science Museum hoping to catch Dr. Selig. However, Zee's cover is blown when he has a run-in with an electromagnet; he and Ro decide to dodge the security guards for as long as possible and search for Selig. In the meantime, we discover that Zee is interested in learning about family dynamics, Ro doesn't like to discuss her feelings or past, and the Grandview Science Museum holds the world record for legal liabilities. ;) The pace picks up dramatically as Zee once again exposes his robotic self to save a little girl from a fusion reactor. Bennet misses the heroic deed and chases Zeta into a robotics display- but he promptly gives up when he sees how many robots he'd have to sift through to find the right one. Ro and Zee leave the museum in a cab and Zee tells her excitedly that he saw Selig as the building was being evacuated. Ro replies, "So, did you have his smile?"

  • The Next Gen
Summary: Zee intercepts a government-ordered assassination and feels compelled to stop it. He and Ro need to go to San Pilago but Bucky, intent on capturing and reprogramming the assassin robot IU7 for himself, freezes up the airport’s computer system and refuses to set things right until they allow him to accompany them to the island. They initially consent but, upon landing, they melt Bucky’s shoes to a pier and go off without him. Zee finds DeFlores and, after assuming the arms dealer’s identity, leads IU7 on a chase around the island. Bucky tries to reprogram the bad ‘bot but the NSA has installed an override command. So he reprograms a crane instead and flings the robot a good distance away. He’s good for something after all! Although out of commission for the moment, IU7’s memory chip was damaged in the fight and Zeta has become his new target.

  • West Bound Click here to read reviews of this episode!
Summary: Ambushed, Zee and Ro narrowly escape the NSA and catch a train to Fenton, Missouri. However, Agent West hops on the same train. While Ro teaches Zee about taking time to ‘smell the roses,’ West searches the train. Everything is fine until the hover-rail’s transformers interfere with Zee’s holograms, randomly changing his disguises and causing a scene. While West chases them through the train, the remaining agents head to Fenton to prevent Zeta's escape. West is temporarily put out of commission but a hover cell on the baggage car goes bad and destabilizes the train. Zee climbs to the roof and uncouples the unstable car but an NSA airship shows up and attacks him. He jumps to safety on a train heading the other direction and loses the agents. At the Fenton station, Ro alludes the NSA (who are now chasing the other train) and finds Zee at a botanical center across the street. He is taking her advice and smelling a bed of roses (though it looks odd since his olfactory sensor is on top of his head). Noting how quickly they found each other, Ro wonders if it means they are starting to think alike.

  • Hicksburg Click here to read reviews of this episode!
Summary: Ro and Zee head to the logging town of Hillsburg, Oregon to visit her estranged foster family, the Morgans, and search for information about her real parents. Trying to impress her family, Zee dons the visage of movie star Adam Heat and inadvertently creates a commotion that makes the local news. However, the NSA becomes suspicious of the broadcast when a simultaneous interview on Showbizt Planet claims Heat is in Macao, China. Zee is worried but agrees to stay long enough for Sheriff Morgan to find Ro's foster records. In the meantime, Zee is roped into helping foster-sister Tiffy audition for a play and Ro realizes how close the NSA actually is when she intercepts a call for the sheriff from Agent Bennett. Before she can warn Zee, a holograph malfunction exposes his identity on stage. As the sheriff tries to apprehend him, a palette of logs is accidentally unleashed on the mountainside but Zee manages to stop it from crushing the amphitheatre and its occupants. Grateful that everyone is safe, Sheriff Morgan lies to the NSA and sends them on a fruitless chase. Though the records turn up little, Ro is happy to have made amends with her foster family and is astounded when Tiffy returns a photo she stole when they were kids; it's Ro's brother and now she has a clue to finding him.

  • Shadows
Summary: Ro tries to teach Zee the concept of ‘fun’ by hanging out a mall in Gotham. While Ro heads for the food court, Zee decides to spend some time in a ‘grav’ tube. However, IU7 has tracked Zeta to Gotham and the mall is quickly blown to bits. Ro is hurt in the melee and Zee’s actions to save people- caught on tape- are misinterpreted as monstrous. This leads Bruce Wayne to believe that Zeta has reverted back to his violent programming and sends Terry (aka Batman) to take him out for good. Meanwhile, Ro is treated for a minor concussion but Zee feels awful about the risks she takes and decides to leave without telling her. After a misunderstanding between Terry and Zee, Ro explains the entire scenario; Batman and Zeta must now team up to save the hospital and its patients from the rampaging IU7. At the end, Zeta attempts to sacrifice himself in order to stop the bad ‘bot but, luckily, Batman appears and drags Zee out of the MRI room before both androids are ripped to shreds.

  • Crime Waves
Summary: Trying to relax on Malibu Island, Ro and Zee must forego their vacation to rescue Wade Pennington, the heir to the Pennington Robotics empire, from a group of thugs. Accompanying Wade to his mansion, they meet his bodyguard, Swen, and watch as Wade abuses his robotic servants; they finally leave in disgust. Later, they learn that Wade has been kidnapped- and they are the prime suspects. They seek out the bullies from earlier in the episode for information. After an unsuccessful fight, the bikers tell them that Swen hired them to torment Wade but they didn't kidnap him. Ro and Zee swim out to Swen's boat in the bay and learn that he is planning to collect the ransom from Wade's father while framing Ro and Zee for the boy's soon-to-come murder. They are caught and led to the cargo hold where Wade is being kept. Zee tears a huge whole in the side of the ship and the three prisoners escape to the top deck. A lot of laser firing and a brief scuffle with Swen ensues but he's finally defeated when a large bell hits him on the head and knocks him out. Swen is arrested and Ro and Zee are happy to learn that Wade has reprogrammed all of his robots to be friends instead of servants. Ro marvels at the idea of a human and a robot on the same side.

  • Ro's Reunion Click here to read reviews of this episode!
Summary: To locate Ro’s brother, Zeta scans the national foster care records and finds the name ‘Casey Rowen.’ With little to go on, a social worker in Twin Cities, Minnesota recommends that they contact Skye’s the Limit, a talk-show that reunites families. Visiting the studio, Ro is caught on a live feed and the NSA is alerted. Harry Lux (a sleazy producer) and Skye (the host) invite Ro to return for the next taping; she desperately wants to find Casey but she knows that it will put Zee at risk. However, Zeta convinces her to take the chance, even if it means they won’t see each other again. Ro goes to the studio and Zee discovers that Harry and the social worker have been staging the reunions using actors and then returning the runaway kids to foster care for profit. Zee confronts Harry but gets locked in the back of a hover-van. The van crashes and he has to make it back to the lot on foot. Meanwhile, Skye introduces Ro’s brother and the NSA agents assemble to catch Zeta. ‘Casey’ doesn’t look like the boy in Ro’s photo and she thinks they’ve got the wrong person. Zee finally reaches the studio and reveals Harry’s scheme on live television but the NSA attacks and they must flee the scene. Later, Zee and Ro watch a press-conference in which Skye apologizes to all the kids she unknowingly duped and invites them back in order to really help them. She also reports that Harry and the social worker are in jail. Zee feels bad that Ro’s own reunion wasn’t successful but she tells him that, for now, he’s the only family she needs.

  • The Wrong Morph
Summary: Zee and Ro are seeking any information Dr. Morrel (a former IU scientist) may have about Zee’s past or Dr. Selig. While they are visiting his research center, a patient named Kevin wanders the halls with a strange looking backpack. Unbeknownst to them, Kevin is a paraplegic and the pack allows him to walk. Later, Zee and Ro disguise themselves as Kevin (and his backpack) to avoid a guard. They are trying to crack Morrel's security system when a thief breaks in to steal the backpack (AKA Synaptic Amplifier). Zee tries to stop him but the S.A. makes the man extremely strong and he escapes; Zee and Ro also flee the scene. Kevin is taken to jail because the guard believes he stole the backpack. Zee learns that the thief’s name is Blake and decides to visit him but Blake attacks and flees. Zee chases him across the city’s rooftops while Ro follows in a hovercar. He finally gets away when Zee has to save Ro from a falling elevator. Zee decides to turn himself in but, after talking with Kevin, they realize that Morrel assisted Blake- the break-in was too easy and Blake was a regular visitor. Disguised as Kevin, Zee records Morrel confessing to accepting illegal funding for the Center. Ro and Kevin stop Morrel from escaping and Zee and Blake fight again; Zee turns the S.A.'s power knob to it's maximum setting and overloads Blake's nervous system. Kevin is finally pardoned and given the repaired Synaptic Amplifier so he can walk again.
