January 20, 2008 Hey, guys! I'm still working on the new craft projects but, in the meantime, I'm determined to fill in all the blanks on the episodes page. With the help of Veoh, I was able to watch "Hicksburg" again and finally got the summary written and posted. I also added reviews for a couple episodes. Not the most exciting update (sorry!) but definitely a practical one. ;) Crafts on the way, soon. -Dalliann
December 9, 2007 Eeh, sorry for the huge space of time between updates. ^^' Two additions to the site, today. The first is a piece of fanart I did earlier this summer but forgot to post 'til now (sorry!). The second I'm particularly proud of because I've been wanting to post a new craft for a long time and I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. It's a Zeta cell phone charm! ^_^ More art on the way and a couple new crafts (Ground Wire mugs, anyone?) right after New Year's. February 28, 2007 Hey, guys! Sorry I haven't been able to update 'til now. Things have been incredibly busy since January but I'm hoping to have more free time around mid-March. I've got two craft projects that should be finished around then so you can expect some new stuff soon. In the meantime, Neologized Hinagiku sent in two more fantastic pieces of fanart for your viewing pleasure. January 8, 2007 This is becoming a rather bad habit, only updating in January of each year. ^^' I'm still working on moving over content from the old site but so much of it I don't even like anymore. I did finally set up the crafts section but I've only included the TZP charm bracelet. I'm reworking the entire page and will have new projects available very soon, one of them being a crocheted scarf with a circuit design similar to Ro's shirt. I'm really excited about it- I think it will be the best craft so far. :) Also new today is a great fanart of Lil Zee by Neologized Hinagiku- go check out her work! :) If anyone else has fanart or fanfiction they'd like to post, I'd love to see it. January 13, 2006 Happy 2006, everyone! :D I hope you all enjoyed the winter holidays. There were only a few of us that were able to participate in the Christmas Card Exchange (which, I think was mostly my fault for posting the info so late into the month... ^^') but we had fun regardless. So, for anyone who couldn't join in on the last card exchange, here's your chance to take part in the Valentine's Day Card Exchange. ^_^ Registry for the exchange will only be open 'til January 30th- so if you'd like to be on the list, you've got to get signed up now. :) Over the holidays I also received two great holiday-themed fanfics and six new pieces of fanart to post, thanks to Iglika and Mark. November 30, 2005 Wow. I cannot believe it's been almost two years since Ground Wire: 2040 was updated. *hangs head in shame* But look- I got a domain! GW:2040 has a new home! No more pop-ups and spam ads! No more bandwidth issues (hopefully!). I maintain several fansites and I felt that it would be easier to take care of them if they were all under one roof- so Random Fandom has been created to do just that. On top of this, I've also created an update schedule- currently it's planned for only one update a month but that's more than I've done in the last two years so I look at it as progress. ;) Not everything has been transferred from my Geocities account, yet, but most of it's here. All the big stuff. :) So, to celebrate and get reacquainted with everyone, I thought I'd host a TZP Christmas Card Exchange. Because we're getting so close to Christmas, registry for the exchange will only be open 'til December 9th- so if you'd like to be on the list, you've got to get signed up now! I really hope to get a lot of participation from TZP fans on this- I've missed you guys so much! ^_^ More stuff coming soon! :) -Dalliann
January 26, 2004- Hey, guys! :) I’m sorry to say that this isn’t an update- I wish it were. Due to a horrible virus that closely mimics the Sprint picture phone messages (watch out!) our computer is 100% dead and I am completely without home internet access. Because of this I’ll be unable to update until we get a new PC- probably in March. I will try to answer all of my backlogged email as soon as possible but please be patient if I can’t find some stable ‘net access again for a few weeks. Also, I'd still love to get email in my absence but my available space is limited to only 8% of 4MB so I'd really appreciate it if all attachments could be withheld 'til I get back so I can make a little extra room. November 24, 2003- Hey, guys! I don't even know anymore if it's my computer that has the problems or if it's Yahoo! Probably both... I've been locked out of my file manager and email box for about three weeks! Arghh! If I disappear again for a month I'm most likely experiencing more technical difficulties- as opposed to dead. ;) So, first off, I posted all of the things that I had planned to post in October- namely LTC's entry in the fanfiction challenge, two new fanart pieces by Mark, and an awesome birthday present of fanart from Beegirl! ^_^ I'm sorry for the huge delay in being able to get them posted- thanks for your patience, guys! :) And, completely thanks to Bee, I now have several pieces of my own fanart to post! ^_^ There are just two today- I'll post the rest in about a week! :) However, there is a way to get a sneakpeak at one of them- but it requires some work... ;) There's a new section under 'Fun Stuff' called Games & Puzzles- if you're up to completing the pictograph that appears there you'll be able to see one more piece of fanart! :) But besides that, pictographs are just plain fun! :D Lastly, I archived the last challenges. Unfortunately, I've somehow lost the ability to download anything from my computer except zip files and Microsoft Word documents- because of this I have to put the challenges on hold. We're hoping to get a new computer by January so the hiatus shouldn't be too long- and in the meantime I'll be posting some new things to make up for the 'void'. ;) I think that's about it, today. I'm going to be leaving this evening for our family's Thanksgiving get-together and I won't be back 'til the 29th- but I'll have some new stuff when I return. :) Have a great Thanksgiving, guys! :D -Dalliann

September 26, 2003- Hey- I'm back! :) My recovery from the jaw surgery wasn't quite as quick as my doctors thought it would be so they kept me on sedatives for another week and a half- but I'm feeling so much better after having it done! :D Thanks for all the well-wishes! :) I just posted the new fanart and fanfic challenges and moved September's challenges to the archives- thanks to Mark for sending in his great art entry! :) Also, he sent in two more fanart pics- go check them out! :D I just finished the newest adoption, Zee, and it's up in multimedia now- I'd like to get Bucky posted sometime over the weekend so I'll probably start working on him this evening. :) I think that's about it for now- more stuff coming soon! :) -Dalliann September 4, 2003- Hey, guys! :) Small update today. I've decided to redo the e-doptions... yes, again. As I'm getting more proficient at dolling I'm beginning to hate my old efforts more and more. This time I'm using a uniform base for all of them- they're tiny and shaded! *Oooh!* ;) The only one up right now is Ro (in Multimedia) but the others will be up soon. :) The other thing I must mention is that I'm going to be gone for about a week; I'm going in to have surgery on my jaw tomorrow morning and, while it's nothing serious, I wanted to let you guys know where I am so you don't think I'm just taking off again for another three months. ;) I won't be able to answer any email for awhile (the meds are supposed to keep me close to comatose for several days) but I'll get right to it as soon as I get back. :D See you guys soon! :) -Dalliann August 29, 2003- Mark sent in the first entry for the fanart challenge- go check it out! :) He also sent me a thoughtful 'welcome back' pic that's been posted in fanart- thanks, Mark! :D And a huge thank you to Bee for offering to scan my artwork- I appreciate it so much! :D More coming soon! -Dalliann August 26, 2003- Hey, guys! :D I have been so bogged down with non-'net stuff for the last three months- I've missed you all! :) First off, I want to thank Bee, J'Freak, and Mark for their entries in the last fanart challenge- they're wonderful and I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get them posted. Go check them out in the fanart section or the challenge archive! :) Secondly, the new challenges have been posted- they were kind of spur-of-the-moment decisions so neither one has as many requirements as I usually include. The last update today concerns the TZP Story Generator- it's finally up and running and is located under the 'Fan Stuff' heading. Nearly four months of trying to figure out what was wrong and I STILL don't know what the problem was. My programmer friend couldn't find the tweaked code, either, and suggested that I use a different generator system- but I really liked this one so I started over from scratch and somehow straightened out the bad command. I'm as surprised as you are. ;) And now for a long bout of groveling... You may recall that in June my computer was sent away for repairs- unfortunately, the techies just made everything worse and now there are even more problems than before. It'll be at least another six months before I can afford a new one and without access to a working computer and scanner there isn't a lot more I can do with this site. Is there anybody out there who would be willing to scan my growing pile of fanart? I'd like to have my entire folder scanned (TZP, X-Men: Evo, Kim Possible, Xyber Nine, and several other cartoons) but I'd be more than happy with just having the TZP stuff scanned! I would also include money for return shipping & handling and I'd be happy to draw a couple of gift-pics for my wonderful volunteer! :D If you've got any questions or would like to offer your services, please email me! :) Thanks for any help you can offer, guys! :D -Dali June 2, 2003- We are getting out much later in the day than we had planned to- nothing is packed right. My dad sees this as a bad thing- I'm relieved. I went to bed last night, well past midnight, after having spent the last two days trying to figure out which code is bad in the story engine (and failing to actually do so). But this delay in leaving has given me the time to call a programming friend and telepathically pout my way into getting him to check it out for me. ;) It's not up today (I'm sorry!) but he'll be working on it while I'm gone so it should be up probably by the end of the week (he doesn't think he'll be able to check it out 'til at least Wednesday). It is coming! Just takes someone with a better grasp of HTML than mine to figure it out... *GRIN* In other news, there was an awesome documentary on TLC last night called "Robosapiens"; it was a display of the kinds of robotics that will be used in the future and how far engineers and programmers still have to go to get them there. I had planned on getting the new layout all set up by the first of November but, as you can see, that plan fell through several months ago. *SIGH* It's up now, though! This new layout has a lot more graphics so please be patient while they load; I'm still tweaking some things so the loading time will more than likely decrease in a few weeks. While there's still a lot left to do, here's a list of the obvious changes to the site; some things- like the episode section- are still under heavy construction but may offer some usefulness (at least more so than it did a few months ago).

I've been traveling back and forth between my house and my grandparents' house for like three months straight- I'm the family petsitter when they're on vacation. ;) I'll be gone again in three days but in the short bursts of time when I am at home I'll be working on getting the new layout up. It's much nicer and should look a LOT better on different screen resolutions. The new look will be up on November 1st with the characters and episodes pages completely updated as well as a couple of new multimedia projects. I'm sorry for slacking so much lately- I just wanted to let everyone know I haven't forgotten the fandom and I'll get my act together soon. :) More in a month! -Dali August 1, 2002- Hey! I'm finally back! The challenges didn't get any entries this month so there's no week of voting. If you guys are still interested in having the challenges please let me know with a note on my message board or in an email. If they're wanted I'll reopen the challenges at the end of October. I just got the calendar for this month set up but that's about it; next week I'll get the episode section all straightened out and finally get the ep review form back up and running. More coming soon! -Dali July 19, 2002- Things are going way too fast in my life outside the 'net so I've got to take a break from the PC for awhile and get everything straightened out. The latest challenge's due date will be postponed 'til July 31st and a week of voting will follow. I'm still drawing his body so the Krick e-doption won't be up for awhile. My episode section is giving me a lot of problems so if you send in ep reviews they'll be posted no earlier than June 8th- I'll be adding the remaining summaries and stuff and it's all going to be a jumble. Tomorrow I leave for four days of housesitting with the good dog, the bad dog, and the sumo cat- so I'll be 'netless. *SNIFFLES* If you're entering the challenges, your submissions must be in by May 23rd. Since I made my e-doptions (months ago) I've gotten a lot better at controlling the mouse while drawing- so I decided to revamp them. Tiffy's the first one done. When all of the other characters are reposted I'll upload Krick, Rush, and Selig as well. Also, challenges this month will be due on the 23rd- NOT the 20th. I finally got the episode-review-thingy up and running. It was giving me so much trouble but, by dumb luck, all of the bugs seem to have been worked out. There are more episodes listed in the review form than I actually have listed on my episode page but I'll fix that soon and also get some short summaries up. That's it for now. -Dali May 1, 2002- The calendar's finally up; it's under the 'Site Stuff' heading. I've listed all of the days I'll be gone this month and I've also set up a few dates for 'scheduled updates'. On these days I'll be working on stuff that should have been done a LONG time ago, like episode summaries and revamping character bios. Maybe even a transcript or two. My idea behind this is that by setting deadlines for myself I'm usually more motivated to do things I hate- like ep summaries. But I'll still be doing random updates between the scheduled updates- they'll be for the fun stuff like crafts and challenges. -Dali April 30, 2002- Hey! I posted a new craft- Zeta Keychains. Also, I finally got around to putting thumbnails in the fanart challenge section; they're the same ones that are in fanart but I had just been lazy about posting them in both sections. Tomorrow I'll be adding a site calendar- it will have relevant info pertaining to TZP (like airdates for the month) and will also include scheduled days for updates. Also, I'm going to be gone a lot this month so I'll post my planned absences, too. Sorry I'm posting this so late in the day- I didn't wake up 'til this afternoon. I hate being sick. *COUGHS & SNIFFLES* Bee, GypsyMST, SteelNeko, and Vanessa sent in some great fanart for the challenges- go check them out in fanart or use the link in the challenge section. I also posted the new challenges for this month- and remember, there's an actual prize this time so be sure to enter! I've been trying to get the episode-rating-thingy to work but it's being very difficult. It'll be added as soon as the bugs are all worked out. Also, I'm sorry for slacking on the new craft. I'm leaving on a trip tomorrow and won't be back until Friday- but, when I get back, I'll make sure it gets posted. It's a TZP charm bracelet. See you soon! -Dali April 15, 2002- The fanart and fanfiction sections have finally been formatted and I reposted the past challenge entries in the aforementioned areas. I've got so many pictures I want to post- where can I find a WORKING scanner!? *GRUMBLES* Anyway, the episode-review-thingy should be up and running by Saturday and I'm also going to try to get a new craft up by then, too. That's it for now. Oh, and only five more days 'til the challenge deadline. -Dali April 14, 2002- Hey! My computer's back. NOT fixed but not blacking out, either. Anyway, I got the summary for 'Crime Waves' posted in the episodes section. And in just a few days I'll have a new addition in that area- you'll be able to leave a review and rating for your favorite (or least favorite) episodes. And either tomorrow or the day after I'll have the fanart and fanfiction sections all setup- with actual pictures and stories in them. And while we're on this subject, there are only six more days 'til the end of the challenges (April 20th!). So far, I haven't gotten any entries for this month so I'd really like to see some stuff come in soon! Also, I've decided to make the first contest challenge start April 21st instead of May 21st like originally planned. That's all for now but I'll be adding more stuff in the next few days. -Dali April 4, 2002- Hey, everybody. My computer is seriously dying- I'm surprised it hasn't blacked out in the five minutes that I've been online. My dad is taking it to one of his techie friends for the week- hopefully he'll be able to stabilize it (I gave up on a complete cure a long time ago). Anyway, I won't have 'net access for the next couple of days but I WILL be working on some stuff for the site. I planned on posting this Sunday but the flu hit my house big time and I've virtually been asleep since the weekend. But this morning I managed to crawl out of bed, limp to the computer, and slowly get around to posting a new craft. A patch (you know, for jackets and stuff) bearing Ro's silhouette and name. I've been staying with relatives for the last few days and, while I do have 'net access, I don't have the notebook that I wrote down the "Crime Waves" summary in. It's still coming, though! But what I'm actually writing about is the Ground Wire: 2040 message board. Blank since it's creation, the first message was finally posted a few days ago by Mouse- thank you! Her message motivated me to use the board as well. *GRIN* I've posted two questions there and I hope to recieve many replies- they will MAJORLY help this site advance to the next level! Also, as soon as the new episodes premier, I'll be posting related discussion topics, so check back for those! That's all for now. -Dali March 9, 2002- It's been a long week... I'm still working on the summaries (sorry!) but I really think I'll have them all up by next Saturday. In other video-related news, I finally got the first craft posted! TZP Video Cases! Volume 1 is the only one up right now but 2 and 3 will be here pretty soon, too. I actually have a different picture that I drew for the video's cover but since I can't scan anything it was holding up the whole project- so I caved and used a pic that I'm sure you've all seen. I got four more desktops done for Zee and Zeta (same formula as yesterday- two wallpapers have sideborders, two don't). They're in Multimedia. I'm working on two episode summaries but they might not be up 'til Wednesday because I don't know how long I'm going to have 'net access. But I'll try to get them up before then. -Dali March 1, 2002- I was playing around in Paint (avoiding an English report) and I came up with two new wallpapers for the Multimedia section. They're basically the same picture except that one has a side border. After I finish my essay I'll get to work on desktops for Zee and Zeta. Also, I'll try to get a few more episode summaries up by the end of this weekend. -Dali February 21, 2002- I posted two new challenges and the submissions from last month's challenge- thanks to Bee and Zee's Girl for participating! I'm changing around a few things on the site (for organization's sake) so they won't be appearing in the fanart and fanfiction sections for a few weeks- however, they ARE posted. On the challenges page there are two links that will take you to the previous challenges and their corresponding entries. Everything's still a bit jumbled for me right now but as soon as I get some free time I'll try to make the navigation of the site run a little smoother. I've also decided that if the challenges recieve enough attention I'll open it up for competition. I've come up with a design for TZP-themed pens and bookmarks for the prizes, but it will be at least May before I can start making them. What do you guys think- I'd love feedback on this! -Dali February 13, 2002- Happy Valentine's Day! I had planned on making a special adoption for Ro/Zee shippers but I'm lacking a stable computer and it usually takes about three hours per adoption- my PC won't stay active that long so you get a TZP-themed Valentine's Day border instead. Check it out in Multimedia! And remember, the fanart and fanfic challenges end on February 20th, so if you've got something to submit, get it in soon- I'd love to see your work! I'm back but things are still WAY hectic- and my computer seems to be suicidal so I'll be 'Netless for awhile. However, I did manage to pull most of my act together this afternoon and I got TZP: At A Glance posted- it's still under heavy construction but at least it's up, right? I also posted the first of a series of monthly fanfiction and fanart challenges- I hope to see a lot of people entering! I failed to complete the ep summaries I've been working on but they'll probably be in the next update. On a completely different note, did anybody watch Tracker? I'd never seen the first episode 'til last week- I thought it was funny but it was COMPLETELY different from the other episodes I've seen (and frankly, Joanie Laurer scares me). Anyway, check your listings- in some areas it runs tonight. I'll be gone for about another week, but maybe I'll be able to sneak in an update or two from the library's computers- if I can ever find one that's open. Man, where's a Ground Wire when you need it? -Dali December 26, 2001- I meant to have the last E-Doption up on Monday (sorry!) but I've only been home for a couple hours since then (we had Christmas at my sister's house). It's up now, though. A belated Merry Christmas to you all! -Dali December 21, 2001- Five new E-Doptions in multimedia- Bucky, Tiffy, West, Lee, and Bennet. Zeta is the last one and will be done by Monday. -Dali December 20, 2001- Ground Wire: 2040 is officially open! I finished up the character profiles, added some more multimedia stuff and basically just tidied up. There's still a lot more to do but it should come along pretty fast. -Dali December 19, 2001- Added the credits page, uploaded two multimedia projects, typed up a mini-history of the site, and added two tidbits to the trivia section. More tomorrow! -Dali December 17, 2001- Working under the stress of a deadline... I got two short ep summaries posted (the rest will be up soon). Although they're completely devoid of life, the fanart and fanfiction sections have been set up, as well as submission guidelines. Still working on the rest of the character profiles. I fixed a lot of spelling mistakes (I know there are still more that I'm just not seeing...). Oh well! I'll be doing more stuff tomorrow- right now I've got to finish my Christmas cards. -Dali December 13, 2001- Since I haven't done anything for weeks I decided to do a lot today. Links, character profiles, multimedia, a message board and a guest book have all been added. I did some other stuff, too, but I can't remember what... Meanwhile, I should be studying for my ACT's. More stuff coming up soon. -Dali November 24, 2001- I added the crafts page and posted the directions for TZP video cases and a bookmark. Also got the trivia section up and fixed a lot of broken links. More coming up later. -Dali November 20, 2001- Got the main page set up with links and graphics.
